The Environmental Program for Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change (PAGRICC for its acronym in Spanish) in Nicaragua is an initiative funded by the Nordic Development Fund to support the government of Nicaragua in adequately managing its natural resources and reducing risks from natural disasters associated with climate change, particularly its effects on agriculture.
Climate Focus, in association with partner INCLAM, is carrying out a project component that deals with the elaboration of future climate change scenarios, capacity building in climate risk management in the agricultural sector, technology streamlining, and the design, production, publication and dissemination of educational materials and videos associated with climate change adaptation in the agricultural sector.
