Job Harweg is an analyst at Climate Focus, where his work focuses on carbon markets. He supports the development of and facilitating framework for offsetting and insetting projects across different sectors, such as renewable energy and clean cooking. Apart from his technical background, Job brings hands-on experience from a cookstove design project in Uganda during his master’s, and subsequently led workshops for students from the International development track at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Prior to joining Climate Focus, he worked as a junior project manager at Energie Samen, the national umbrella organization for renewable energy communities in the Netherlands.

Job holds a MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology and a BSc in Sustainable Innovation from Eindhoven University of Technology, with an additional MSc in Resource Economics and Sustainable Development from the University of Bologna.

Job’s native language is Dutch, and he is fluent in English and has good conversational skills in Italian. Outside of work, Job enjoys playing guitar in a band and going on race bike rides out in nature.
