Eugene Moriarty

Eugene Moriarty is the Group Operations Manager at Climate Focus. His focus is on supporting, developing, and improving operations across the Climate Focus, encompassing Finance, HR, and IT.

With more than 20 years of experience, including serving in board roles, Eugene came to Climate Focus by way of a career that has spanned the sporting, publishing, built environment, and asset management and finance industries.

He holds degrees from Trinity College, Dublin (B.A. Mod – Physiology), is a certified accountant, and a qualified company director with the Institute of Directors, London (MIoD).

Eugene is inspired by advances in energy efficiency technologies in all their forms, especially in the fields of electrical generation, transport, transmission, and storage. In his free time, he enjoys the sport of cycling – a sport in which he competed internationally for a number of years, culminating in directly qualifying a place for Ireland at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
