Camilo Pardo

Camilo Pardo is a consultant with Climate Focus and a qualified Colombian lawyer. He currently advises government and private sector clients on contractual, legal, and public policy matters. Camilo has experience in carbon markets, carbon pricing instruments, and design of legal frameworks for Article 6 transactions under the Paris Agreement.   

Prior to joining Climate Focus, Camilo worked as a lawyer and tax advisor for law firms in Colombia. He was also the tax director of the National Business Association of Colombia, where he gained experience in public policy, working on legal reforms that impacted SMEs and the most vulnerable areas of Colombia. 

Camilo holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Universidad Javeriana, a specialization in taxation from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and a master’s degree in public management from the University of Potsdam in Germany. In his free time, Camilo enjoys going to concerts, watching movies, and traveling.
