Strategy Development
We help our clients develop their climate action strategies, ranging from net-zero pathways and the use of carbon markets to funding and investment strategies and strategies for communicating climate actions.
Climate Policy & Carbon Pricing
Policymakers ask us to help develop, implement and monitor climate policies. For instance, we help integrate carbon taxes and other carbon pricing instruments and align them with sectoral policies. We work with developing countries to attract finance for their priority policies, such as through Article 6 transactions or through voluntary carbon markets. Building on our work on the ground, we have published a number of standard guidebooks on developing and implementing carbon pricing policies. We provide assistance in evaluating and developing Nationally Determined Contributions, NDCs.

Land use & Nature-Based Solutions
A recognized leader in advising on forestry and agriculture, we provide clients with a suite of comprehensive services to develop land-use policies, access financing mechanisms, and support country-level planning and implementation. We also work extensively for public and private sector partners in developing effective strategies for supply-chain zero-deforestation efforts. We support the development of climate-smart agriculture business models and activities and investments related to land tenure assessment, benefit-sharing, and carbon rights.
Food Systems & Diets
Our work in food systems spans international, national, state, and local-level policies and strategies. For instance, looking at how food is included in climate strategies and identifying opportunities to redirect finance towards low carbon activities. This is closely tied to our work in land use and nature-based solutions.
Energy
We are supporting the development of renewable energy projects through carbon markets and through communication programmes. Our involvement ranges from large-scale hydro and wind plants in Africa, dissemination of domestic biogas systems in Indonesia, and solar cooking devices in refugee camps to communication programmes in our own neighborhoods.
