Pearl Wallace is the office manager of Climate Focus Berlin. She is also a freelance teacher and editor. Pearl is responsible for a range of administrative, financial and managerial tasks including setting up operational procedures, accounting and payroll responsibilities, drafting contracts and references, editing, and updating website content. She also works collaboratively between offices, assisting in projects as needed.
Prior to joining Climate Focus, and having relocated from London, Pearl worked as management board assistant/office manager for a Berlin-based international company. Before this, she worked for over 15 years in corporate banking in the City of London before coming to Berlin as a banking consultant. In her free time, Pearl enjoys hiking in the mountains, swimming and traveling.
Pearl holds degrees from the Open University (BA first-class honors in modern language studies) and the Institut Français du Royaume-Uni (Diploma in French). She also has banking qualifications and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge.
