Climate Focus and Personal Architecture launch Sun in the City

Climate Focus and Personal Architecture are launching Sun in the City, an exciting project boosting the support for solar panels in cities. The first pilot will be in Rotterdam. Sun in the City brings solar energy closer to the hearts of city dwellers by:

  • Establishing solar hubs in the streets: places where you can use solar energy immediately for your benefit, charging your mobile phone or e-bike, for instance

  • Solar signs: little signs which can be put next to the front door of buildings that already have solar panels on the roof. This way you can see at street level that there are solar panels on the building and get in touch with the owner for a chat

  • Solar pop-up store: these provide independent and really useful information when considering getting solar panels yourself or with your owner's association.
